About Margaret

Hello!! My name is Peggy and I'm a fully vaccinated CPS teacher looking ahead to summer and hoping to find consistent nannying, babysitting, and/or tutoring gigs! I grew up in St. Louis, MO, have a lot of cousins and have been babysitting for almost 20 years. I moved to Chicago for grad school in 2017 and have lived here ever since. I love it here and plan on staying in Chicago long term! In addition to working for CPS, since living in Chicago I have worked at a camp in Michigan for kids with disabilities. and a Chicago park district camp in their nature education department. I'm excited to combine my love of Chicago and working with kids this summer. I love to explore parks, museums and the zoo with kiddos and take them on walks around their neighborhood. On rainy days or at night I love to entertain them by playing games, reading, books, and singing songs. In my spare time I like to cook, go on walks, and explore all Chicago has to offer.
