I have cared for the elderly for 14 years. Started with visiting angels after my mom passed. Cared for many adults in nursing homes as well as traveled with families so they could have the freedom to enjoy their family and have the Entire family together . My clients now unfortunately have passed . Having cared for each of them was a privilege. I was responsible for there daily activities, bathing was part of our daily routine. Always fresh and cleaned . Enjoyed reminiscing with them as they could go on about their life when prompted. Most had dementia. Others just needed support on a daily bases with risk of falling not eating properly. Also assisted in doctor's appointments, keep the home safe and clean. It was a a pleasure working with each client I had over the years . Trying as some days were we always found away to enjoy the day.
