About Maren

Hello! My name is Maren! I am certified in CPR/First aid and also have extensive training and experience with children with developmental disabilities and medical complexities. I have my own car, clean driving record, and have several years of childcare experience with children from 3 months up to 15 years. I have worked as a camp counselor, swim teacher, and currently work PRN as a resident enrichment specialist in a pediatric complex care facility. Practicing patience, consistency, empathy, and creativity was vital throughout my experience working with children with mild to severe developmental disabilities. However, I apply these principles in my work with children of all abilities and strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment for any child that I care for. I also love coming up with unique and engaging activities that align with the child's interests and strengths. In my spare time, I like to rock climb, bake, read, and see live music.
