About Marcus

My name is Marcus Y, a Nursing Assistant (NA) in downtown Richmond, Virginia. I recently moved from Lynchburg after earning my certification in November. Since then, I've worked at an assisted living facility where I've gained experience caring for residents with skilled nursing needs. This role has pushed me to think on my feet and adapt to each client's unique care needs. I assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support mobility, and help with nutrition and documentation. I pride myself on being dependable, compassionate, and able to connect with clients from all backgrounds. I'm starting nursing school in the fall and plan to earn my Medication Aide certification in June. I'm excited to keep growing in the healthcare field and take on new experiences.
