In my early 20s, as a dialysis technician, I took care of elderly people who were receiving dialysis treatments. It was then that I learned of the special blessing it is to care for those among who are more fragile physically but strong in spirit - if we listen. I received medical training as a dialysis technician (vital signs, observation, venipuncture, operating the machine, etc.), medical assistant, and now a licensed midwife. I have only had a paid job as a senior care provider for a short time on care. com in 2013 but as a mother of many, I have spent my life caring for people and their needs, both for pay and as a lifestyle. Other experience I have is as a housecleaner and professional organizer, nanny, and tutor.
