I have an elementary education degree but being a teacher in a classroom didn't work as I tried every type of school setting from 2007 until 2023. I have been teaching swim lessons in the Montgomery County Recreation Aquatic Centers and Outdoor pools since 2011 since that seems to be an environment I'm comfortable in. I also found a passion for reading books and sharing my love of reading; as I worked several years as a bookseller at Barnes & Noble. I have some experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well and enjoy helping those that need extra support and encouragement.
