I was a high school language arts teacher for Broward County Public Schools from 2004 through 2013. I also was head of the Drama program for 3 years. I have worked one on one with hundreds of students in the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. I am well-versed in the core curriculum as well as supplemental materials such as novels and current events. I have a wealth of information that I love to pass on to the students I teach and tutor. I believe every person has the ability to become an educated, well-rounded and productive member of society. It is my goal to help my students go beyond that to thrive in not just their lives, but to be able to show others how to find the solutions. I look forward to meeting you and your child, and I am very excited to add more clients!

Marcie is a fun, engaged, generous, and patient teacher who always has her students' best interest at heart. She finds a lot of joy in teaching that a lot of educators don't, and she never patronizes her students. She always keeps a balanced, professional, and honest relationship with them, and she makes learning a terrific experience. Any family would be blessed to have her as a tutor.
