About Marcia

I am a kind and energetic woman who loves people. My hobbies include cooking, gardening and photography. Following law school I chose to stay home to raise my three children, all while volunteering in my community. I spent 5 years working at The Acton Integrated Preschool as a classroom assistant before moving to Newburyport and subsequently caring for my grandchildren. I presently volunteer with The Greater Newburyport Village, serving seniors in Newburyport and surrounding communities. I also volunteer as an Usher at The Firehouse in Newburyport. In the past I served on the Acton Council on Aging for 7 years, 3 years as its Chair and spent 3 years on the Board of the Acton Boxborough United Way. I'm hoping to be able to continue serving a most deserving generation.
