About Mara

As a childcare provider with 9 years of experience, I am passionate about fostering children's growth and development. I find great joy in supporting families and providing a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive. I worked as a ski instructor for the last 3 years coaching ages 3-12. This has been my favorite job to date. Being able to watch my students grow and learn make fun lasting memories has been a highlight of my career and is why I want to further my career in childcare. Patient, calm, creative, and friendly, I easily connect with children of all ages. I believe in open communication with parents, and I always follow their preferred method to discuss their child's day or any issues that may arise. Certified in First Aid and CPR Training, I prioritize the safety and well-being of the children I care for. I do not have my own car at the moment, I will have it starting second semester. I do have a license and am more than willing to drive if needed.
