About Mara

Hello!! My name is Mara, As for music instruction, I've taught ukulele lessons for extended periods of time to two separate 4th/5th grade school students and have aided in choreography and vocal assistance on various plays, choirs, bands, and concerts I've participated in. As for educational instruction, I grew up tutoring my younger sister in math, English, and history mainly throughout her elementary and high school years. I have no formal training in tutoring, but I was consistently a person who my classmates turned to for help in school as I enjoy finding creative ways to help people understand material. My strongest subjects are English, math, and history. For Test Prep, I received a 31 on my ACT by teaching myself out of a test prep book and used what I was able to learn to help my friends and classmates to raise their scores by 1 or 2 points as well.
