Hello! My name is Mara and I'm a 19-year-old sophomore at Gustavus Adolphus College. I'm an Elementary Education major and working with kids is a huge passion of mine. I started helping my mom with her babysitting jobs when I was 10 and a couple of years later I started babysitting by myself. I got my first childcare job at 14, so I have 5 years of official childcare experience. I also have experience with children with special needs. My mom is a special education para and I have spent a lot of time over the years shadowing in her classroom. I am a huge animal lover, so I definitely don't mind having pets in the house!
