I've found that my favorite tasks aside from Customer Service involved cleaning the counters, and sweeping and mopping at the end of the night. I always found that I was the most thorough and precise, exploring every corner and crevice to ensure that the next cleaning session would be easier for whoever did it next. Outside of the professional realm, my friends who have diagnosed ADHD have found their dishes piling up in their sinks. With their permission, I would tactfully begin the process of clearing out any old food that may have gone rotten while sitting in the sink for however many weeks. Whether it was just a few dishes, or piles of dishes, and whether the food is fresh or moldy, I have found that the cleansing process is quite meditative and satisfying for me. I get to help others relax by doing the tasks that they feel are just a little too much. It's an honor to alleviate stress for my community so that they can better care for themselves and others.
