About Maneeta

Hello! I am a South Asian early childhood educator with 7 years of experience working as a preschool teacher at a Montessori based program in Berkeley, California. I am a Barnard graduate, and I have over 10 years of experience working as a private child care provider for infants, toddlers, and children up until the age of 12 in both New York and California. As an educator, I am able to connect with children quickly and make sure to get to know them as they are, so that I can understand their individual needs. I value play-based learning and child-led exploration, and will often work arts and crafts, story time, multicultural topics, and nature into my time with children. As a very open communicator, I am comfortable maintaining contact with parents as needed, including check-ins and following up on any pertinent matters. I look forward to meeting you!
