Greetings! I am a self motivated person who loves to work with the elderly. When I was 19 I worked as a CNA and adored the interactions and bonds I created. I have always wanted to go back to that one on one caregiving role. I have worked in long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, taken care of the elderly in their own homes. I believe talking care of others is a path I have been on through out my whole life. Especially my 21 years in social work. I am ready to retire from the social work/office scene. Caring for the elderly is something I have always been passionate about. One of my favorite jobs ever was working in a memory care unit. When you are a caregiver, I loved feeling I helped someone. In the past when working in caregiving settings for the elderly, I enjoyed the satisfaction of helping someone to rise in the morning or go to bed and making sure they were content, pampered and clean. It's a rewarding job I would love to get back to.
