I am a 33-year-old female, I have extensive childcare and tutoring experience ages 10 months to high school. I personally have type 1 diabetes and understand the additional care, emergency plans, and protocol for carbohydrates counting, athletics, extracurricular, etc. and encourage "living without limits" with type 1. I am responsible, down to earth, detail-oriented, a great listener, emotionally intelligent, a problem solver and proactive. I want to be part of your "type 1 team" and help with child care, also with special needs.. I can also help as a patient advocate, assisting with helping children gain independence while safely managing their numbers, creation of 504 plans, preparing for emergency situations, planning for a college transition, submitting an insurance appeal, etc. I look forward to meeting you!
