Aloha! My name is Mandi. I am a birth and postpartum doula, newborn expert and trained educator with over 19 years' experience with children of all ages, as well as neurodivergent kiddos. I graduated from CSU San Marcos with a bachelors in psychology (emphasis in child development) and hold a preliminary teaching credential. To me, a nanny is more than one who provides childcare; I am there for all aspects of your family, be it "childcare"(bathing, cooking for, and feeding children, as well as any cleaning or laundry pertaining to them) housework, preparing/cooking healthy and organic meals (as well as meals that follow certain dietary restrictions), other laundry, homework assistance, personal shopping/errand running, and driving children to and from events. Mandi worked for my family for almost a month and was good with our son and dog; however, she abruptly quit via text message the night before she was scheduled to work in the morning because of personal issues she was dealing with. As a working parent who needs reliable help, she really let me down and, quite honestly, left me in a really tough and unfair position.
