Everyone is different with what they would like to be done but as a nanny I have planned and following a daily schedule for the children, including age-appropriate activities, play, and learning opportunities. Feeding, dressing, and bathing the children, and changing diapers and helping with potty training if appropriate . Maintaining a clean and tidy play area and living space, and doing the children's laundry. Assisting with homework and school projects, and transporting the children to and from school, activities, and appointments. Communicating regularly with parents about the children's behavior and progress, and meeting with them to discuss activities. I have been doing this professionally for 6 years but I have been nannying for friends, family and coworkers since I was about 16 years old. I've loved this field. But before working as a private nanny, I was in the medical field as a PCT. I worked in the ICU, medsurg, and NICU. Furthering my education in childhood development!:)
