About Mandalyn

Hi families! I'm Mandalyn, and I have worked for over seven years as a nanny! I have a certificate from the Howard Community College Department of Teacher Education for achieving 45 hours of instruction, as well as experience with potty training, light housework, culinary knowledge, organization, and flexibility. My recent positions have been with children ages 6m - 2y, but I have references and experience with children 3m - 12y. My goal is to give families the resources to encourage growth, development, and success. I enjoy creating a safe and play-based educational space where children can learn and thrive. I treat children with respect and kindness, finding the balance between being gentle + silly and showing children how to maintain boundaries, respect of others, and prepare them to interact positively with their surroundings. I also have a car, am comfortable with pets, and I look forward to meeting and learning about your family!
