My forte is taking care of Dementia patients, Cancer patients and vehicular accidents-traumatized, Parkinsons, post Surgery. I am confident working at night(been working night shift for 10 years)can do day shift too depending on the time/hours needed. About myself, I am a soft spoken person, fast learner, polite, loving, compassionate, dependable, patient and understanding, willing to learn new things. I love interior designing/decorating. Called Minnie based on our chat on care.com. When we chatted, she told me that her rate was 20 per hour and that she would be more than happy to start and was very OK with hours We went over. When we talked over the phone, all she talked about is money, money, money, and did not care to know anything about my father or his care plan or anything that we needed help with. She was like I need to get paid in cash because I cannot report any kind of taxes and I just need to make sure I get paid in cash and I cannot do anything else. she just went off on a rant about how great she is and how every agency is paying her $27 per hour and even $30 per hour and that this is the going rate right now. I said OK I can use a W-2 form and she said no if you give me that I cannot work with that I can only do cash because I cannot report. Good luck to anyone who wants to hire that.
