I worked as a live in caregiver in the past 10 years to clients with dementia, and a recovering patient from a bypass operation & COPD. My job included meal preparation, light housekeeping, medicine administration, bed bath/bathing, dressing/ grooming, incontinent care, lifting, run errands, companionship. I love my job. I love helping my patients especially those who are not able to do things on their own. I am very understanding and patient person by nature. Empathy and compassion towards my clients made me a better caregiver. My relationship to my clients is dealt with love, respect and compassion. I am registered with Home Health Care of California, CPR certified and a CNA. I'm willing to travel/ drive to work. I've been doing it the whole time driving 2 hours from home to my client's place. ( prefers live in case).

Without any hesitation, I offer the highest of recommendations for Ma Luisa for employment in any patient care or caregiver role. For 4 1/2 years Ma Luisa was our mother's live-in caregiver. Our mother had advanced stage Alzheimer’s Disease and was completely unable to care for herself. We thanked our lucky stars daily that we found Ma Luisa and continue to keep in touch to this day even though it's been almost 3 years since our mother passed away. Ma Luisa's caregiving duties required the full range of personal care needs including incontinence care, pressure wound care, personal hygiene, feeding, and companionship. Additionally, Ma Luisa was responsible for monitoring our mother’s overall well-being, and for communicating regularly with family members and hospice staff regarding her condition. Ma Luisa fulfilled all her duties with skilled expertise and a tenacious dedication to providing the very best of care in all she did. All of this was accompanied by genuine kindness, compassion, and a consistently cheerful and loving disposition. During the first year of the pandemic, when the hospice staff was not allowed in the house, Ma Luisa even took on much of the hospice staff duties including monitoring our mother's vital signs and medications. We knew that in Ma Luisa’s expert and compassionate hands, Mom was receiving the very best care possible. Feeling confident in that was an invaluable source of comfort for our family for which we will be eternally grateful.
