Hi! My name is Maleyna, but during past caregiver jobs, the kids loved calling me Mimi because it was easier:) I am currently a college student studying to become an occupational therapy assistant! I hope to work in pediatrics and specialize in sensory regulation. I had to move back home to prepare for full time fieldwork that I'll start in January, so I am currently unemployed and have a lot of free time I am not use to having. I am the oldest of two younger siblings and also the oldest cousin, so babysitting is a norm for me. My brother has ohdo syndrome, so I do have experience with special needs and sign language. I also worked in two different childcare settings. One being a summer camp for elementary students and the other being a child development center. I absolutely loved both! I am certified in CPR, first aide, and trauma informed care.
