About Malena

Hi! My name is Malena and I have worked in Care-giving for 7 years. I have experience with kids between 20 months old to 16 years old. I have worked at 2 outdoor summer camps, 1 sleep-away, and one day program. I worked at a Nature Pre-school as well, with kids 2 1/2 to 6 years old. I have nannied toddlers, and worked for families of older children, helping with errands, pick-ups, meal-prep. I have also spent the last two years caring for my grandparents who are in their 90s. I love outdoor activities and engaging in playful curiosity. I am warm, bright, intuitive and have a calm and friendly demeanor. I believe in building a relationship of trust and reciprocity with children, encouraging them to be themselves and explore. I have my own car. Am happy to help with light-housework, meal-prep, pick-ups and drop-offs. And I love pets. I am CPR certified and have a Wilderness First Responder Certification, which includes first aid.
