A little about me: - Born and raised in the DMV area - Attended FCPS (K-12) - Graduated from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) - B. S. in Human Development (Child & Adolescent Development) - B. A. in Spanish I provide private, in-home tutoring for students in grades K-12 across all subjects, including Spanish language and grammar. I have experience working with diverse learning needs, including students with ADHD and those on the spectrum. My approach is highly personalized - I spend the first few sessions assessing strengths, areas for growth, and learning styles to develop a tailored plan. I have been very happy with the academic tutoring that Malaz has provided my son. He enjoys the one-on-one sessions and actually looks forward to them. Malaz has been excellent at identifying areas of strength and areas where improvement is needed and has used various techniques to keep him engaged. I can definitely see the difference the sessions have made! Overall I highly recommend Malaz as a tutor!
