About Malaz

Hi! My name is Malaz. I am a very reliable, patient, and creative person who has approximately 10+ years of experience caring for and teaching children, from infants to teenagers. A little about me: - Born & raised in the DMV area - Attended FCPS from grades K-12 - Graduated from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) - B. S. in Human Development with specialization in Child and Adolescent Development. - B. A. in Spanish I currently provide private in-home tutoring services to students in grades K-12 and in all subjects. I have worked with students with various learning abilities, including individuals with ADHD and on the spectrum. I like to spend the first few sessions understanding student strengths, areas of improvement, and exactly what type of learner they are. This helps me create the best "plan" possible to have successful tutoring sessions. I utilize a variety of learning resources - some resources I have created on my own. Thank you!
