We hired Malai to help us around the house just before our first baby was due. She was helpful the first three times she came to assist. However, on the fourth day, she did not show up. We reached out multiple times over several days to make sure she was okay, but we never received a response. Unfortunately, we were ghosted by her during the week our baby was due, which was extremely disappointing. While we understand that circumstances can change, a simple heads-up would have been greatly appreciated. Reliable communication is especially important during such a critical time for a family.
