About Makiah

As a dedicated childcare provider with nine years of experience, I find great joy in supporting families and making a positive impact on the lives of children. My journey began with fulfilling babysitting roles, where my passion for caregiving blossomed. My approach to childcare is centered on patience, creativity, and a friendly demeanor. I believe in open communication with parents, using their preferred method to discuss their child's day and address any concerns that arise. I am also comfortable enforcing household rules as guided by the parents. From outdoor sports to educational games, I enjoy engaging children in a variety of activities that foster their physical, mental, and emotional development. My experience allows me to care for up to five children, ranging from toddlers to preteens. As a reliable and responsible caregiver, I own a car and am comfortable with pets. I am also willing to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and travel.
