About Makenzie

Hi! I'm Makenzie, and I am a dedicated nursing student at Georgia College. I am passionate about helping others, especially children, and am eager to leave a positive impact on their lives. I am CPR and BLS certified, which enables me to provide safe and effective care in emergency situations. With four years of hands-on experience caring for children of various ages, I am skilled in managing groups of up to four children simultaneously. I emphasize open communication with parents, ensuring that I follow their lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, which fosters consistency in care. I am also comfortable taking on additional tasks such as pet care, cooking, cleaning, assisting with homework, laundry, and running errands. My approach to childcare blends educational, physical, and recreational activities. I enjoy engaging children in outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games that stimulate their minds and promote learning.
