About Makenzie

I'm a nurturing caregiver with four years of experience caring for children of all ages. I wanted to work with kids because watching them learn and grow is incredibly rewarding. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I love playing outdoor games, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I keep parents informed about their child's day through regular updates via their preferred method of communication, whether that's verbal communication at pickup or text or phone calls throughout the day. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, and I'm comfortable caring for up to four people children at a time. I have some college education under my belt, and I've completed some coursework in early child development, as well as having my BLS Certification. I'm also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel.
