Makenzie worked with our family as a full-time nanny for two years, from the time our daughter was 15 months through 3 years old. Makenzie is an all-around wonderful person. She is smart, kind, warm, and genuine. She consistently brings a positive attitude and true joy for her work. Our daughter connected with her immediately and Makenzie engaged her in play, exploration, and learning ever since. Makenzie has prepared countless arts-and-crafts activities, led toddler-assisted baking, and read hundreds of books. She helped our daughter have as many outdoor adventures as the weather allows, from the backyard, to the river, to every park across town. Even in the face of the loudest toddler meltdowns, Makenzie brings patience and kindness. Makenzie has worked seamlessly with us through many developmental milestones. Makenzie is very skillful at blending her wisdom and ideas with respect and support for our choices in raising our daughter. It should also be stated that Makenzie conducts herself with maturity and professionalism. In two years, Makenzie has never been late to work. She is very conscientious of our time and schedule.
