Hi! I'm very passionate about working one on one with kids and enjoy taking on a mentor kind of role where I am helping guide the expression of the many heightened emotions kids experience. I have a teaching background and one year under my belt as a private school interventionist. This was a position where I was free to create my own curriculum and worked in small groups with kids (1-5 kids max). I loved it! I absolutely love the part of myself that expresses itself around kids, they truly do bring out my most loving, empathetic, and patient self. I'm enjoy playing outside and doing arts and crafts with kiddos too. One of my favorite things about working with kids is the emotional side of it. I spend a lot of time learning about emotions and relationships and it brings me so much joy to share that knowledge with others (especially kids). On the flip side of things, I'm always stunned by how much I'm able to learn from what kids teach me.
