About Makenna

Hi! I'm Makenna and with seven years of childcare experience, I'm passionate about helping children grow, learn, and thrive. My calm, patient, and creative approach creates a nurturing environment where kids feel safe and excited to explore new things. I believe in open communication with parents and always ensure they're updated regularly in the way that works best for them. In addition to childcare, I'm a former swim instructor and lifeguard, so I love integrating swimming lessons into my care when possible. From educational games to arts and crafts, I make it a priority to keep each day fun and enriching. I hold a college degree and certifications in First Aid and CPR, so I'm prepared for anything that may come up. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time and can also help with meal prep and light housekeeping. My goal is always to ensure that every child feels safe, supported, and loved.
