About Makenna

Being one of the oldest in a large family with eight kids has definitely contributed to love I have for kids. I first started babysitting for other families when I was 13 and I have loved it ever since. In high school I consistently babysat for about five different families on the weekends and in the summers I was a nanny. The family I was a nanny for had two sweet kiddos, a baby girl who was 3 weeks old and a 2-year-old boy. The duties I had often varied depending on the family. I have been responsible for taking the kids to the park, zoo, library and sometimes working on school work with them. My senior year of high school I also had the opportunity to be an elementary teacher assistant. In college I have been able to be a MOPS childcare worker and care for families on the weekends.

Makenna always came to work with a smile on her face. She would read and play with the children. Never was afraid to be in the room with multiple kids. Makenna will be greatly missed in the fall!
