About Makenna

Hi, I'm Makenna! :) I'm an experienced nanny/babysitter/teacher/tutor with 13+ years of childcare experience ages 1-14. I have 6+ years of teaching experience (all subjects) in grades K-6, specializing in teaching children how to read. My experience and background in education helps me keep kids engaged with fun, safe, age-appropriate activities, whether it's creative play or academic support. I also have experience caring for children with special needs, such as autism, ADHD, and other learning/emotional disabilities. I have provided childcare in many different settings: private homes, schools, daycares, tutoring companies, hotels, and events.
