I am currently in my senior year of Nursing School and am extremely passionate about providing care for those with special needs. My passion began at a young age as several of my adopted siblings have significant disabilities including, ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, speech disorders, COPD, Spina Bifida, and movement disorders. In high-school, I became the primary caregiver to my mentally-disabled, non-verbal sister as well as to a mentally-disabled young adult. Since then, I have worked as a CNA in many different hospital settings including, psychiatric, ICU, and surgical floors.
