I care for my patients like my own family. I have been around the health care scene my whole life, helping my mother take care of my great grandparents for many years. Experience: ALS patient(8 months): tracheostomy care and certified, hoyer lift, ventilator. Stroke patient (7 months): peg tube care, range of motion/physical therapy, speech therapy. Companionship (1 year): transportation to/from doctor appointments/errands, end of life care, oxygen and cPap, Alzheimer's/Dementia care, and medication administration.

Thank God we found Makena!! Last Oct Mother in law needed a little help. She declined into needing someone 30-40hrs a week within 6mos. Makena was reliable flexible funny smart and able to handle very stressful situations as she had to get mother in law to hospital several times. We are across the country so Makena was our lifeline. She's amazing!! Any family would be lucky to have her! She is our "sunshine" :)
