About Makena

Hi there! I'm Makena, and I'm super excited to introduce myself! I'm CPR certified and have a ton of experience working with kids. For over 10 years I've been nannying! I've been a gymnastics coach, nanny, swimming instructor, camp counselor, and lifeguard. I've worked with children from seven months to 16 years, and I've got plenty of patience and practice to share! In my free time, I love reading, swimming, biking, hiking, yoga, and mountain biking. I'm also into arts and crafts, like painting, drawing and making bracelets and much more! Growing up in the forest, I really believe in the importance of getting kids outside to connect with nature. I really like to draw the attention away from screens time. Nature rocks! I enjoy cooking and keeping things tidy around the house, so I'm happy to help with meals, cleaning, laundry-whatever you need! I can whip up some tasty meals and snacks for the kids, and I've got loads of games and fun activities to keep them entertained!
