About Makena

Hi! I would love the chance to bring bright and positive energy into the growing minds of your tiny/teenage humans! It brings me such a joy seeing their little faces light up. I have been babysitting and working with many different children throughout the years including my younger siblings so I have a lot of experience with working through tough situations and problem solving when needed. I am also an animal lover and have many of my own so I'd love to help out with your furry/scaly friends! While babysitting I have done many art projects, lots of outdoor play, helped out with homework, prepared snacks and meals (I'm also vegetarian!), light cleaning around the house, playing fun games, putting them to bed, little singing/musical theatre/dance performances, and much, much more! I'm also a certified yoga instructor so I'd love to have little stretching/meditation/mindfulness sessions with them if you would like! I am so excited to meet your kids and make your life a little easier!
