About Makayla

Hi, my name is Makayla, but I prefer to go by Kayla! I use she/her pronouns. I am going to college at Oregon State University and am pursuing a career in medicine. I enjoy reading and writing in my free time. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, compassionate, and caring. I like working with kids because while I was growing up, I was always the oldest and got to take care of my siblings and cousins as babies and as they got older. One thing I did that made me love kids more was when my younger cousin was born I got to spend a summer and take care of her while her parents were away and that made me have a fondness for young kids. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and has a great opportunity for me to get to know new people and get to have a good relationship with the kids. I've been babysitting since I was 12 or 13.
