She’s the best! Needed a last minute nanny and definitely keeping her as my number one contact for the next time we need someone. My kids age 8, 5, and 2 loved her the moment she walked through the door, she is kind, patient, energetic and super smart. They wanted to talk with her about everything and show her all their toys. She was very interested in everything they had to say. At the end of the night I heard from both the kids and from Makayla that they had so much fun/ laughed a lot, learned lots of cool facts, had fun conversations, built structures, and the entire dinner time/night time routine was taken care of no problem. I had sent her a message saying that since it was her first time with the kids it was fine if she wanted to wait until I got home to do bath time because I didn’t get a chance to discuss it with her before I left. She responded saying she felt comfortable doing it and I came home to clean happy kids in pjs with teeth brushed and flossed. She has so much experience nannying for a family with 3 kids that things I normally would have to go to great lengths to explain to new babysitters, she just understood immediately. And anything I did have to explain (my youngest has severe nut allergies) she listened attentively and I knew I could trust her to be on top of it.
