About Makayla

I am a college graduate with experience tutoring elementary and high school students. My bachelors degree is in biology and psychology and I am confident tutoring these subjects and other related science or social science subjects such as chemistry, physics, sociology, etc. I am patient with strong communication skills that allow me to adapt to different learning styles and build a supportive environment for students to learn. I scored in the 96th percentile on the SAT and am confident providing test prep instruction to high school students studying for the SAT. I scored in the 95th percentile on the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test). This exam covers critical reasoning and analysis, general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics, psychology, and sociology. I am confident providing tutoring to students studying these subjects and/or the MCAT. I am happy to provide my transcripts or score reports to show proficiency in specific subjects.
