About Makayla

Hello! My name is MaKayla. I started my childcare career when I was 12 years old. I started with babysitting and taking child development classes. I was a director over a preschool at the age of 18 and I was a mom at the age of 19. I have taken countless courses in child development and I do have a degree in Health Service Management. The past 10 years I have worked regular jobs but I have now chosen to follow my passion. I have a 10-year-old boy myself and he is the light of my life. We are hoping to foster or adopt eventually to add to our family as well. I'd describe my personality as fun, loving, and In my spare time, I go to Taekwondo with my son and my husband. We are a very close family so when I am not working we are always traveling or playing games together. One thing you should know about me is I'm extremely patient. Listening to kids cry and scream does not phase me at all. I love helping children reach their potential and understand how amazing they are.
