Hi! I've had a lifetime of experience caring for a special needs child, as my sister has a genetic disorder called Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome. This means she is missing part of her fourth chromosome, and she is non-verbal, needs to be fed by a g-tube, is in diapers, needs assistance walking, and has a history of seizures. I also have a next door neighbor that is missing part of his brain that I care for quite a bit, and have worked with special needs peers throughout school. I am very fun and outgoing, and can get along with just about anyone!
