About Makayla

I'm passionate about children's happiness and growth which led me to become a caregiver. I'm studying to be a pediatric nurse. With three years of experience, I'm comfortable caring for up to 2 children between the ages of Infants to 6-year-olds. My calm and friendly nature helps me connect with children and build trusting relationships. I grew up in a full family household and all I know are children and the love I have for them and watching them grow. I was a child growing up watching children as well lol. I believe in clear communication with parents and follow their preferred method, whether it's verbal updates at pickup or regular text or phone calls. Bonding with children is one of my favorite parts of being a caregiver. I love engaging with them from sports, physical games, board games and puzzles, or video educational games that make learning fun. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I'm excited to meet your family and how I can support your childcare needs.
