About Makayla

I've had multiple years experience with caring for and helping children; from swim lessons and experience with coaching to helping with day camps and babysitting friends and families children. I consider myself to be friendly and approachable to children of all ages, and have a very patient and calm demeanor. All of which help me connect easily with kids and build trusting relationships. I keep an open communication line with parents and want to be able to keep them updated on their children. Which can be through verbal communication at pickup or regular text updates, I adapt to the preferred communication style of each family. When it comes to household rules, I tend to follow the parents' lead and respecting their wishes. I am comfortable with keeping set boundaries and rules in place after learning the rules for your household. My aim is to provide a consistent and structured environment for the children in my care.
