About Makayla

My love for kids first started back when I was playing "house" with all of my dolls. Eventually I moved on to babysitting younger cousins and family friends. Then finally into my adulthood, I started caring for them daily as my job. Before I moved here 3 years ago, I was a lead infant room teacher at a large daycare center for 4 years. I grew to be very close with the daycare families after being with their infant 5 days a week for 8 hours a day for the first year of their lives. I loved taking the time to get to know each and every baby, learning their little personalities, their tells, likes and dislikes, their favorite toys and ticklish spots. So much growth and development happens in that first year and it's always been my favorite part to get to witness it all.
