About Makayla

Hello! My name is Makayla, I am 22 years old and I am passionate about caring for children and providing them with a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. With experience working with children from newborns to 13 years old. I'm a nursing student as well as CPR and first aid certified. I have hands-on experience with newborn care, including feeding, diaper changes, and establishing sleep routines. I also love working with toddlers and young children, creating fun, educational activities to help them develop important skills. For older children, I focus on building trust, fostering independence, and providing support with homework or other activities. I am patient, compassionate, and always looking for ways to make learning and playtime enjoyable. Safety is my top priority, and I am comfortable with all aspects of child care, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and organizing activities. I would love to help!
