About Makayla

Hello, my name is Makayla. As a dedicated and experienced childcare provider, I'm excited to explore opportunities in caring for children or animals. Previously, I worked full-time caring for a 22-month-old boy, whom I had the pleasure of watching grow from 4 months old. With a strong foundation in childcare, courtesy of growing up with two younger siblings, I'm confident in my ability to provide nurturing and engaging care. I believe in the importance of establishing a daily routine and maintaining a safe, baby-proof environment. My approach to childcare includes regular outdoor activities, such as 15-minute walks, and limited screen time. Instead, I focus on promoting cognitive development through reading, teaching vocabulary, and exploring colors and shapes. I also enjoy singing, dancing, and instilling good manners. I'm eager to contribute to the growth and well-being of children or animals, and I look forward to exploring opportunities and meeting new families or pet owners.
