About Makayla

I've been a trusted childcare provider for over four years, and I'm passionate about helping children grow and develop to their fullest potential. I'm patient, calm, and friendly, and I know how to create a safe and nurturing environment for kids. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and routines, and I'm always respectful of parents' wishes. I believe in open communication, and I'm happy to provide verbal updates at pickup or regular updates via text or phone call. I love playing all sorts of games with children, from outdoor sports to board games to educational games that promote learning. I'm also skilled at teaching children new things, and I'm always patient and encouraging. I have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens, and I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I speak both English and ASL. I also have a car, so I can easily transport children to and from activities or appointments.
