About Makayla

I have always wanted to work with children, and after years of working in childcare centers, I decided to pursue my passion professionally. I am patient, calm, and friendly, and I have a natural ability to connect with children of all ages. In addition to my three years of experience, I have completed coursework in early child development and hold current certifications in First Aid and CPR training. I believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment in which to grow and learn. I am committed to providing high-quality care that meets the individual needs of each child. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and following the parents' lead, and I am always open to communication about their child's day. In my free time, I enjoy playing outdoor activities, board games/card games, and doing little crafts/art work I am also willing to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and travel.
