About Makaila

I am a new mom and I am looking for some flexible work with day/evening hours. I have been around or participating in child care as long as I can remember. In addition to being a mom myself now, I am the oldest of 4 siblings, and I have 2 beautiful nieces and a nephew that I love being around. I also babysat frequently growing up for family friends and other family. I have also gained skills that are useful through my other job experience, like time and stress management, as well as active listening and watching for non-verbal ques. Children often times don't yet know how to tell us what they are feeling or need, and we have to be on high alert to pick up on it. I love art and crafts, puzzles, and the outdoors to name a few, but I know we can find something fun and engaging for your children to do while in my care. I also don't mind taking care of any errands or transportation that may be needed!
