About Makaela

Hello Parents! I'm new to this website & I'm super excited to work independently with families, after working with an organization that provides after-school care for children K-5. My methodology in childcare incorporates a balance between discipline and having fun, I found that this helps children learn proper ways of healthy communication. I also enjoy sharing and teaching enriching activities that promote creative freedom and cultivate the child's imagination. When I babysit, I am present, accessible, and attentive. I am a highly active person who loves to keep busy, this is something I found especially beneficial when working with children. I have years of experience working with infants-teens and can work with multiple kids at a time. I am also very comfortable with pets as I have two of them at home. I look forward to hearing from you!
